Axient is seeking a Senior Program Analyst to s upport DAF Strategic Basing Program execution by supporting Government efforts to develop, coordinate, consolidate, and maintain Strategic Basing Program governance and programmatic documents (e.g., AFI(s), policies, etc.), action plan recommendations, task and inquiry responses, and issue resolution action plans. Active DoD Secret Clearance required. What you will do Develop, draft, coordinate, and provide detailed updates to leadership and interested parties by participating in meetings or forums and developing, coordinating, consolidating, delivering, and presenting associated meeting materials (e.g., slides, after action reports, minutes, etc.) Prepare staff packages (e.g., staff summary sheets, presentations, spreadsheets, correspondence, congressional responses, background papers, talking papers, and white papers) for Senior Executive Service or General Officer, and Presidential Appointee-level audience. Support proponent basing action requests through military value analysis and feedback to systematically move the action through the strategic basing process and obtain final approval. Manage governance battle rhythm to include distribution lists, meeting invites, conference room reservations, compliance review of slide decks, and meeting facilitation for leadership prep sessions and primary meetings held on a weekly basis. Maintain extensive records repository for all basing actions and division information generated in compliance with AFI 33-322, Records Management and Information Governance Program, along with internal Division standard operating procedures. Coordinate and collaborate with: OSD, Joint Staff, other Service staff(s), DAF directorate(s), MAJCOM(s), Center(s), and other government offices and agencies to respond to queries, requests for information, and other support for the programs associated with strategic basing actions, and other SAF/IE programs. Develop Courses of Actions through use of analytical tools, supporting facts, and estimates, to provide recommendations on strategic basing actions. Upon direction, advise and assist in training staff on BRAC process, perform military value and capacity analyses, and prepare cost/savings estimates with OSD-approved modeling systems. Skills you will need Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 10 years' experience including a broad knowledge of DAF and DOD corporate processes, and engaging in strategic partnerships with OSD, Navy, Marine Corps, Army, HAF, AFIMSC, AFCEC.
USAF rated officer experience required (pilot, navigator, weapon systems officer etc.).
Active DoD Secret Clearance A substantial knowledge in installation and mission support areas to enable collaborating with, and when directed leading, complex teams to analyze and interpret strategies and guidance from Senior DAF leaders Location Hybrid - preferably within 50 miles of Pentagon. Fully remote resources can be considered. Travel Position may require travel as much as 25% annually in rough terrain and remote locations, potentially including accessing elevated facilities, and the ability to carry supplies and equipment necessary for assessments of infrastructures and related systems.
