Job description

Experienced Embroidery operator is a plus, but willing to train. Embroidery operators are responsible for the daily maintenance of their equipment. They are responsible for programming their machines for each job to ensure the proper thread color and design are used. Shop help is responsible for assisting where needed throughout their shift to ensure things run smoothly.

Embroidery Operator Duties:

• Ability to interpret work orders

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure and time constraints.

• Familiarizing yourself with commonly used key commands on machine

• Reading job ticket checking for proper spelling and punctuation, thread color etc.

• Routine maintenance to embroidery machine: cleaning, greasing, oiling, etc.

• Prepare garments for machine, which includes hooping mechanisms and backing placement to ensure highest possible quality and output

• Correct any embroidery mistakes found during quality checks

• Maintaining a clean and organized work environment

Shop Help Duties:

• Checking in UPS and customer orders as they arrive

• Cleaning and degreasing screens

• Assisting in neatly folding garments after they are printed

• Preparing boxes to be picked up or to be shipped out

• Keeping the shop tidy by dusting, and vacuuming when needed

Hours: 9am-5pm (but hours are negotiable)
