Konaig Professional Services, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Security Cooperation Financial Management Specialist- Lead with a Secret clearance to support KPS and our government customer. This is a Remote opportunity. Koniag Professional Services is looking for a Combatant Command Intermediate Analyst to support the Combatant Commands with their DAI Financial Management needs. Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to: The Contractor shall assist with the process of recording commitments and obligations in the accounting system, adhering to the Department of Defense Financial Management Regulations (DOD FMR), DSCA Regulations, and CCMD Regulations. The Contractor shall contribute to the preparation and updating of execution data calls as demanded by program managers, sponsors, DSCA Comptroller, and CCMD Comptroller. The Contractor shall gather, track, and analyze commitment, obligation, and expenditure data from accounting systems or records. This information shall facilitate the creation of midyear and program review analyses and documents, which the Contractor shall finalize within the established timeframes to fulfill schedule deadlines. The Contractor shall administer the reconciliation and resolution of undistributed disbursements, unmatched, and negative unliquidated obligations using accounting systems. The Contractor shall also suggest solutions to address problem disbursements. The Contractor shall construct reports as requested by DSCA CCMD end-users, utilizing systems granted by the Government. These reports shall be published and made accessible for DSCA supported users. The Contractor shall develop and maintain SOPs and Process Maps to facilitate the implementation of CCMD programs in DAI. The Contractor shall assist and propose recommendations for the creation of all Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) in reaction to any internal or external audit findings. The Contractor shall support and offer recommendations for the development and implementation of all Complimentary User Entity Controls (CUECs). The Contractor shall provide input towards process enhancement, both transactional and functional, which includes the creation or modification of standard operating procedures (SOPs). The Contractor shall ensure adherence to audit compliant guidance, as prescribed in SOPs or other governing The Contractor shall provide broad-based support in accounting tasks, including recording obligations, Contractor pay validation, preparation of Contractor invoices for payment on federal forms, resolution of unmatched disbursements, payment rejects, and interest penalties. The Contractor shall aid in documenting critical business processes and assessments to monitor improvements over the year. The Contractor shall assist in developing business process documentation, data capturing, identifying business process control weaknesses and performing testing. The Contractor shall contribute to the evaluation and analysis of business processes to address deficiencies, including the implementation of change management and business process enhancements to align financial operations with audit readiness. The Contractor shall support efforts to address identified deficiencies and findings regarding audit compliance. The Contractor shall propose recommendations and initiatives for cost reduction strategies, including conducting business case analysis, cost-benefit analysis, and implementing automated enterprise business solutions. The Contractor shall assist in optimizing processes to ensure successful programs, operations, activities, and objectives. The Contractor shall contribute to the conduct of risk and internal control assessments, striving to achieve milestones through recommended corrective actions and testing procedures. Education: Bachelor's degree in a computer science, information technology, or computer related discipline or relevant experience in lieu of a degree. Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Candidates must be a US Citizen with an active Secret Level Clearance, per Government requirements Experience supporting Financial Management business operations Excellent communication, customer service and organizational skills Must be fully fluent in MS Office applications, including Outlook, Word and Excel Working Environment & Conditions This job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate.
