Are you looking to be a key member of a small team with big mission impact? NS2 Mission is seeking a highly motivated, self-directed professional to fill the role ofDesk Officer Expert. This position will be joining our team based in the Tysons, VA area. This position will focus on project management and coordination for multiple technical projects around the world. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to, preparing briefings, coordinating travel and equipment procurements, and assisting the technical team with basic installation tasks such as moving equipment.
Key Responsibilities: Organize multiple projects through development and sustainment of a project plan, development of a schedule with key milestones, identification of risks, contingency plans and allocation of project resources.
Proactively manage schedules and dependencies, coordinate with external stakeholders, and communicate status with client management.
Lead meetings with project stakeholders to capture requirements and develop project plans.Expected Travel: Up to 20% Required Qualifications: 12 or more years of relevant experience, including familiarity with IT projects and time spent in the foreign field.
Ability to deal effectively, comfortably, and confidently with people at all levels of responsibility, authority, and rank.
Demonstrated strength in written communication, especially writing cables.
Experienced with Microsoft Office products: (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Microsoft Project)
Basic familiarity with servers, firewalls, and cloud computing.
Ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment.Desired Qualifications: Project Management certification such as PMP.
Previous customer experience as a Desk Officer, Reports Officer, or Project Manager.
Experience working in an Agile development environment.Position Clearance Requirement:
TS/SCI with FSP
