Visit for more details. Responsibilities Support new internet Exchange Point (IXP) architecture and optimization of network supporting connectivity among sponsor entities
Support modeling and simulation of inter-agency network architectures to help capacity planning and future bandwidth requirements
Support traffic engineering capabilities and resiliency of network that supports external sponsor entities connectivity to cloud resources
Support cloud services such Compute, Storage, Security, and Network services across multi-cloud environments
Advanced knowledge of BGP, OSPF, communities, and route policy language (RPL) on service provider on prem infrastructure
Strong oral and written communications skills. Demonstrated experience facilitating discussions on technical issues and the ability to convey technical information to non-technical individuals
Qualifications Required: Must POSSESS and be able to maintain a TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph
Bachelor's (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Information Systems Engineering, Business, or a scientific, or technical discipline. BS 12-15, MS 10-13. Phd 10+
Knowledge of theory and practice underlying LAN/WAN network operations
Knowledge of communications and information security policies and practices
Knowledge of multiplexers, firewalls, hubs, bridges, gateways, etc.
Desired: Knowledge of the Sponsor's policies and procedures relating to design, upgrading, and operating and maintaining their networks
Ability to work in a dynamic and challenging environment
Strong oral and written communications and interpersonal skills
Ability to convey technical information to non-technical individuals
Doctorate degree (or equivalent experience) in a field related to the position
20+ years of experience
5 years of experience in the Intelligence Community
