The DarkStar Group is seeking a Systems Engineer with a TS/SCI + Poly clearance (applicable to this customer) to join one of our top projects in McLean, VA. Below is an overview of the project, as well as information on our company, our benefits, and our $25,000 referral program. THE PROGRAM
The DarkStar Group is a member of 100% of the winning teams for the largest technology program in the Intel Community. We've been supporting this customer on many different sub-projects of this program since our founding in 2013. THE PROJECT The Sponsor requires support to integrate the use of custom data holdings and unique services across multiple in-house teams and across their external user base in a fast paced, dynamic product delivery environment. To enable this integration, the team will work across multiple data environments and applications to identify new analytic opportunities and manage the requirements submitted from across the customer base to various teams within the sponsor's office.
The success of the team will be determined by their ability to efficiently manage the rapid pace of tasking across the teams, deliver data environment services, such as training, system evaluation, system implementation, and system & team integration, that best serve the expeditious satisfaction of end user requirements for the sponsor's services.
THE ROLE The Contractor Team shall work closely with office management and government task manager to enable requirements gathering, system evaluation, integration, implementation, and assist in the maintenance of the Sponsor's data environments.
The Contractor Team shall manage requirements from receipt to delivery working with diverse service delivery teams to ensure requirements are regularly reviewed and updated.
The Contractor Team shall provide assessments of current work unit processes, recommend a way forward, propose an implementation plan, and support the implementation of Sponsor's projects.
The Contractor Team shall provide full-lifecycle planning, change management from inception to execution for a high operational tempo mission office.
The Contractor Team shall sustain, propose, implement, and evolve capabilities to capture user feedback on products and capabilities delivered by the sponsor's technical project teams to their customers.
The Contractor Team shall provide the Sponsor with documentation and SOPs not limited to assessments completed and implementation of new processes.
The Contractor Team shall ensure documentation is made available to the Sponsor's PM, GTM in a document repository approved by the Sponsor.
The Contractor Team shall work closely with technology teams to improve processes and services.
The Contractor Team shall identify efficiencies and develop processes to optimize the delivery of immediate and long-term capabilities, vision, strategy, and priorities as assigned.
The Contractor Team shall support the Sponsor's special projects involving advanced technology solutions for partner organizations.
The Contractor Team shall provide technology evaluations that can assist with streamlining processes and scale to meet evolving mission demands.
The Contractor Team shall support Sponsor's requirements management system for a multi-disciplined mission focused team including maintenance of legacy requirements tracking system. This includes maintenance of the system itself.
The Contactor Team shall support data policy and workflows.
The Contractor Team shall provide technical, ad hoc trainings to sponsor's data users on custom tools and data exploitation consistent with established use cases.
The Contractor Team shall sustain or introduce automated solution(s) that can map collections to data models, increase efficiencies in data sharing and transport, and optimize workflows to use fewer mission applications.
Required Skills Demonstrated experience standing up new workflows and supporting technology to track and manage requirements.
Demonstrated experience creating metrics and triage tools for technologists and leaders to assess overall level of effort for a parent organization and its supporting service delivery organizations.
Demonstrated experience supporting big data environments and AI/ML solutions.
Demonstrated experiencing delivering advanced technology solutions.
Demonstrated experience with software engineering processes, and a work environment which supports multiple programming languages.
Demonstrated experience with sensitive data policy and data workflows.
Demonstrated experience delivering iterative technology architectures to address previously unmet mission needs.
Demonstrated experience leading data exploitation efforts for sensitive data.
Demonstrated experience implementing best practices and private sector solutions into sensitive data environments.
Demonstrated experience taking data exploitation projects from conception to production.
Demonstrated experience implementing and supporting new organizational level governance structures for IT services and capabilities.
Demonstrated experience delivering large-scale implementation of roadmaps and plans for IT organizations.
Demonstrated experience creating project plans for complex systems.
Demonstrated experience organizing data to develop cost models.
Demonstrated experience developing strategic resource plans for enterprise-wide services.
Demonstrated experience leading development teams including Extraction, Transformation, Load (ETL) to ensure strategic direction aligns to organizational needs.
