Overview JOB TITLE: Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Lead GOVERNMENT AGENCY : DOJ EOIR POSITION INFORMATION : Full-time LOCATION: Falls Church, VA; Hybrid (3 days onsite/2 days telework); initial 90 days onsite due to current contract requirements POSITION TIMING: Position requires candidate to obtain a DOJ Public Trust clearance which can take 4-6 weeks to process and must be complete prior to starting employement BENEFITS: Health, Dental and Vision, 401(k), Tuition Reimbursement, Flexible Spending Account (FSA), 11 Paid Federal Holidays, 3 weeks' Paid Time Off ITC Federal is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented O&M Lead to join our team in Falls Church, VA . This is a hybrid position, supporting the US government. Regular weekly schedule will be 3 days working on site and 2 days working remote. This is a fast-paced work environment that offers the opportunity to utilize hands-on experience with a variety of IT solutions to solve mission-critical problems supporting the US government. The O&M Lead is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and maintenance of IT systems, ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of the organization's IT infrastructure. This role supervises Tier 2 support, Security Operations (SecOps), and Monitoring teams to deliver high-quality IT services and support. Responsibilities Supervision and Leadership: Lead and manage Tier 2 support, SecOps, and Monitoring teams. Provide guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations for team members. Ensure teams are adequately staffed and trained to meet operational demands. Operations and Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and operation of IT systems, ensuring uptime and performance. Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for IT operations. Coordinate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration and support. Security Operations: Supervise the SecOps team to monitor and respond to security incidents. Implement and enforce security policies and procedures. Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities. Monitoring and Incident Management: Oversee the monitoring of IT systems to detect and resolve issues proactively. Manage incident response processes, ensuring timely resolution of IT incidents. Develop and maintain incident management documentation and reports. Project Management: Lead IT projects related to system upgrades, migrations, and new implementations. Coordinate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and budget. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies. Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the team. Qualifications Ability to obtain a DOJ Public Trust clearance (must be obtained prior to start date). Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, security operations, and monitoring tools. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, CISSP, CompTIA Security+) are a plus. Experience with IT service management (ITSM) frameworks. Proficiency in network and system monitoring tools. Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and incident response. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Candidate must be able to function in general office environment The person in this position must have the ability to lift and move IT equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
