Our client is seeking an experienced and driven Project Manager to oversee a diverse range of construction projects, focusing on government, aviation, and public commercial work. This role, reporting directly to the Vice President, will manage projects valued up to $30M, ensuring timely and cost-effective completion while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. Generating over $100M in revenue, they specialize in secure federal projects, regional municipality work, and high-profile contracts. With a robust backlog going into 2024, they are known for delivering excellence to clients including the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, and major airlines.

Description

  • Manage all phases of construction projects, including estimating, scheduling, and execution.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, clients, and internal teams to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations, including OSHA 30, First Aid, and CPR certifications.
  • Oversee both self-performed and subcontracted work, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
  • Provide regular updates to senior leadership and clients on project progress.
  • Assist with the preparation and management of project budgets, change orders, and contract negotiations.

Profile

The ideal candidate will have a B.S. degree in engineering or construction management with at least 7 years of experience in commercial or industrial construction, or 12+ years of relevant experience without a degree. A strong background in government contracting is preferred, along with proven skills in managing subcontracted and self-performed work. The successful candidate will be proficient in construction-related software, possess safety certifications, and have experience with high-profile clients like HUD and government agencies.
