The Deamer Group is excited to partner with Red Duke Strategies in its search for a highly skilled Communications Marketing Manager (CMM)
This is a full-time remote opportunity in the Washington DC area

Partnering with the government and the private sector, Red Duke Strategies seeks to increase awareness, innovation and social responsibility improving the lives of all they serve.

The Communications Marketing Manager (CMM) will be charged with creating compelling content and developing strategic outreach initiatives
The CMM will produce various marketing materials and manage a variety of communication platforms
The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of client-facing experience in marketing and communications
They will have a working understanding of various government agencies, including the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), as well as experience supporting healthcare, innovation, and/or start-up initiatives. Candidates should be self-motivated, able to work independently, and comfortable managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Develops and produces high-quality content for blogs, webinars, presentations, and outreach materials.
  • Ensures all content is engaging, accurate, and tailored to specific audiences.
  • Designs and creates a range of marketing materials, including informational one-pagers, capabilities statements, flyers, brochures, and other marketing collateral that support our communication goals.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to develop and implement communication strategies including creating and managing online communities to foster engagement and collaboration.
  • Crafts targeted messaging and outreach tactics for diverse audiences, including internal stakeholders, external partners, and different government agencies.
  • Monitors and reports on the effectiveness of communication efforts using various forms of measurement and data-driven insights to refine strategies and improve outcomes.
  • Utilizes graphic design skills to enhance visual content and ensures consistency across all communication materials.
  • Interacts and presents communications plans and outcomes to a variety of stakeholders, including high-profile leaders and decision makers at federal agencies.
  • Supports high-level business communications objectives, such as creating research-based content for the company's website and social media pages.

Location: Washington, D.C
(Remote) - This position is remote, with occasional in-person meetings in Washington, D.C
must be within a 3 hour train ride or drive.
Salary Range: $90,000 - $125,000 per year

Qualifications:
  • 5-7 years of client facing communication or marketing experience.
  • 2-3 years of experience working with government agency protocols and a security clearance, active or prior clearance prefered.
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently, and comfortable managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Impeccable writing capabilities with a strong attention to detail and ability to adapt style and tone for different audiences and platforms.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute communication strategies that align with organizational goals.
  • Experience with MS Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Content management systems, Zoom.
  • Experience with communication measurement and analytics tools to track performance and optimize strategies.
  • In-depth knowledge of government agencies and experience working in the healthcare and/or innovation space is strongly preferred.
  • Ideal candidate is also familiar working within the start-up space.
