Job description

• Only qualified Technical Writer-Project Coordinator candidates located near the Richmond, VA area to be considered due to the position requiring an onsite presence

Our Client is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Technical Writer / Project Coordinator to join our team. In this dual role, you will be responsible for creating clear and concise documentation while coordinating project timelines and resources to ensure successful project execution.

Required Skills:

  • Experience in technical writing and project coordination 3 Years

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to convey complex security concepts in a clear and relatable manner. 3 Years

    Highly Desired Skills:

  • Proficient in documentation tools (e.g., Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, Confluence). 3 Years

  • Familiarity with project management software 3 Years

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. 3 Years

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. 3 Years

  • Knowledge of agile methodologies and project management principles.

  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts, practices, and products. Familiarity with security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO) is a plus. 3 Years

  • Strong understanding of technical concepts and the ability to convey complex information clearly. 3 Years

    Key Responsibilities:

    -Technical Writing:

  • Develop, write, and maintain high-quality technical documentation, including user manuals, process guides, and system specifications.

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather information and clarify technical details.

  • Edit and proofread documentation for accuracy, consistency, and adherence to style guidelines.

  • Create and maintain documentation templates and standards to improve efficiency and quality.

    -Project Coordination:

  • Assist in the planning and execution of projects, ensuring timely completion of deliverables.

  • Coordinate project meetings, prepare agendas, and document meeting notes and action items.

  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and communicate updates to stakeholders.

  • Maintain project documentation, including project plans, schedules, and status reports.

    Schedule Details:

    Candidates will be required to attend monthly meetings onsite in Richmond and on an AS NEEDED basis when requested by the Manager
