Linux Systems Administrator Job Category: Information Technology Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: TS/SCI with Polygraph Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 10% Type of Travel: Continental US What You'll get to Do: As a motivated engineer on this growing program comprised of multiple agile development teams, you will work together with end users, stakeholders, and your teammates in a fast-paced environment creating mission critical software applications as well as w ork on a team developing and maintaining Linux operating systems More About the Role: Research and development of new technologies and best practices
Participate in system design, software integration/configuration, documentation, system hardening and testing and delivery that meet the functional requirements of the system
Conduct and participate in peer-review of system designs to ensure the system meets the technical requirements and conforms with established technical standards
Effectively communicate with multiple stakeholders and Government representatives at various levels of the company and work collaboratively with others in a team environment
Regularly works to achieve operational objectives within the job area
Support ongoing operations and sustainment by providing Tier 3 support for deployed systems You'll Bring These Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a Computer Science or equivalent and 7 years related work experience
A current TS/SCI with Polygraph is required to start
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment
Advanced experience hosting applications in Red Hat Enterprise Linux
OS and Software application patching (e.g. IAVA )
You also will support ISSO and ISSEs via technical implementation (e.g. DISA STIG)
Experience with containerization with Kubernetes These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have: Excellent communication skills in technical, business, and client interactions
Experience with Scripting languages (e.g. Perl, Bash, etc.)
Advanced networking skills
Experience with DevOps and respective tools
Experience with any infrastructure management tools (e.g. Satellite, Foreman)

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
