Pullman Regional Hospital, in collaboration with Washington State University Athletics, seeks a Clinical Psychologist to support the mental health and performance of WSU student-athletes. Reporting to the Medical Director, this role involves psychological evaluations, diagnoses, treatment, referrals, crisis intervention, and promoting mental health for Washington State University student-athletes.

Pay Range: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 Annually. Salary dependent on experience and qualifications. This position is open immediately.

Key Responsibilities:

Assess and treat student-athletes with mental health concerns.
Provide crisis intervention and supervise other behavioral health clinicians.
Coordinate care with healthcare teams, including physicians, trainers, and dietitians.
Facilitate access to additional healthcare resources on and off-campus.
Provide guidance and harm reduction strategies to student-athletes.
Serve as the primary mental health provider and chair the Athletic Department's Mental Health Team.


Qualifications:

Doctoral degree in Psychology (including pre-doctoral internship).
Doctorate in clinical psychology.
Licensed or license-eligible in Washington State within one year.
Minimum of 2 years' experience counseling student-athletes.


Preferred Experience:

Counseling on healthy relationships, substance use, and life balance.
Crisis intervention and working with a diverse student population.
Broad working knowledge of NCAA, conference, university and departmental rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
