ASSOCIATE ENERGY & ENVIRONMENTAL LITIGATION

Our client, a top AmLaw 50 international law firm, is seeking a highly-qualified and motivated Mid-Level Associate to join their Energy & Environmental Litigation practice group in Seattle(link removed)>

Candidate Profile:



  • JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.

  • Washington Bar admission is required.

  • At least 3 years of litigation experience, with environmental and/or energy experience preferred.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

  • Law review or journal experience is strongly preferred, and former judicial clerks are encouraged to apply.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Handle complex environmental litigation matters, including cases involving CERCLA, MTCA, RCRA, and the Clean Water Act.

  • Represent clients in energy regulatory litigation before the Washington Utilities and Transportation Commission.

  • Collaborate with a team of experienced attorneys on high-stakes litigation at both local and national levels.

This role offers a competitive compensation package, with a salary range from $260,000 to $365,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience. A discretionary bonus may also be available based on performance.
