My client, a premier commercial and multifamily contractor, is looking to bring on a senior project manager. This is an opportunity to join a contractor that treats their employees like family and has a robust project pipeline through 2025.

Description

  • Project Planning and Strategy: Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, and resource allocation, ensuring alignment with client goals and project requirements.

  • Budget Management: Oversee project budgets, including cost estimation, monitoring expenditures, and managing financial risks to keep the project within budget.

  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage project teams, including construction managers, subcontractors, and consultants, ensuring effective collaboration and clear communication.

  • Client and Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary liaison between clients, stakeholders, and project teams, providing regular updates, addressing concerns, and ensuring client satisfaction.

  • Contract Administration: Negotiate and manage contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring compliance with contractual terms and resolving any disputes.

  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address issues related to safety, project delays, and unforeseen changes.

  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all work meets industry standards, project specifications, and regulatory requirements, conducting regular inspections and overseeing quality control processes.

  • Project Documentation: Maintain thorough project documentation, including contracts, change orders, progress reports, and correspondence, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.

Profile

  • 10+ years of construction experience
  • Experience with ground-up builds at $10+m
  • Wood frame construction experience
  • Positive attitude and a growth mindset
  • Degree in construction management is a plus!
