Our Client is one of the leading organisations in Europe with one of the largest new infrastructure projects with complex and innovative ways of working and developing solutions.

This role is a Secondment until 30th November 2025 (with potential for a permanent position)

Role Overview: As a Support Services Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Rail Systems Alliance (RSA) leadership team. You will be responsible for managing the business infrastructure and delivering key projects to ensure the effective day-to-day operations of the RSA. This includes developing and managing the Alliance Business Plan, Governance Plan, Management Plan, and Collaboration Development and Support Plan.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the delivery of the Alliance agreement and associated processes to achieve objectives.
  • Coordinate and support the design, development, and delivery of the RSA operating model.
  • Lead the development, implementation, and management of business processes, systems, and structures.
  • Develop and report on the Alliance Business Plan in compliance with the Alliance Agreement.
  • Support the selection process for Alliance roles and monitor performance.
  • Lead projects to improve efficiency and effectiveness within the Alliance.
  • Promote and embed Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) in all work.

About You: We are looking for a candidate with strong project management skills, experience in developing and managing business plans, and excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. You should be able to influence and negotiate with stakeholders, lead and manage teams, and have a good understanding of project and programme management techniques.
