Job description

• Only qualified Systems Analyst candidates located near the Pleasanton, CA area to be considered due to the position requiring an onsite presence

6 Months-Contract to hire (Partial Remote once they convert FTE)

Must have technical skills for scripting in powershell, python or other language, experience managing AD/ARS, Reporting through ARS standard reporting tools, Tableau, SQL and other database management for report development and account security audits/attestation experience.

Effectively communicates investigative findings to non-technical audiences.

  • Works with IT and Clinical project business teams and business stakeholders to respond to and remediate identified issues and determine the best approach for improving business protocol.
  • Provides recommendations to team or department leadership on how to remediate issues identified through system testing processes.
  • Follows established processes to ensure KPI goals are obtained, and performance metrics are tracked on an ongoing basis.
  • Supports continuous process improvement by participating in the development, implementation, and maintenance of tools, templates, and processes across assigned business domain(s).
  • Researches and stays abreast of integrated applications to creatively discover any vulnerabilities, and recommend solutions for technology systems.
  • Generates scheduled reports (e.g., ticket volume updates, error reports, remediation reports) and provides regular metrics to business project teams as appropriate. Support of Windows and Macbook OS, ITSM, Clinical Trials Protocol applications and other service support for workstation builds, maintenance, deployments and device mgmt. VDI Support/Virtual Environment knowledge. HIPAA knowledge.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    Bachelor's degree in business administration, Computer Science, Social Science, Mathematics, CIS, or related field and Minimum three (2) years' experience in IT or a related field, including Minimum one (1) year in network engineering, application development, or desktop support and CIS. Additional equivalent work experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • One (1) year experience working on cross-functional project teams

  • One (1) year experience performing vendor assessments/engagement of IT technologies implementation.

  • One (1) year work experience requiring the development of technical documents or presentations.

  • One (1) year experience working on projects or programs requiring the integration of cross-functional technology and/or business solutions.

  • One (1) year experience in IT incident management, including the development and/or deployment of remediation plans in ITIL environment.

  • Two (2) years software or application development/testing experience.

  • Two (2) years' experience in Windows administration or Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA).

  • One (1) year experience in UNIX/Linux administration.

    Description:

    This position executes requirements gathering methodologies to identify business, functional, and non-functional requirements within designated business domain. This role also develops requirements for process or system solutions within assigned business domain(s) and supports the evolution of applications, systems, and/or processes to a desired future state. This role supports the evaluation of third-party vendors as directed and recommends regional and/or national process improvements which align with sustainable best practices, and the strategic and tactical goals of the business

  • Generates scheduled reports (e.g., ticket volume updates, error reports, remediation reports) and provides regular metrics to IT teams as appropriate. Support of Windows and Macbook OS. Active Roles/Access support, ITSM and other service support for workstation builds, maintenance, deployments and device mgmt. VDI Support/Virtual Environment knowledge.
