Job Title: AP Specialist

Location: Denver, Colorado

We are looking for an AP Specialist to handle the full cycle of accounts payable for multiple entities in Colorado. This is a fantastic opportunity for an AP Specialist to gain valuable experience in nonprofit accounting and property management.

Responsibilities of the AP Specialist:

• Full Cycle A/P: Manage the entire accounts payable process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Invoice Coding: Code invoices to the appropriate properties (11 properties) and ensure all invoices are entered into Yardi ( 200 invoices per week).
• Matching Invoices: Match invoices to purchase orders or other support documents and work with property managers for approvals.
• Check Runs: Conduct check runs every other week
• Journal Entries: Create journal entries to record wires, ACH, and automatic payment transactions.
• Vendor Management: Review vendor statements, handle vendor questions, and resolve any issues promptly.
• Approval Coordination: Obtain coding approval from property managers at each location.

AP Specialist Requirements:

• Experience: Must have experience working with multiple entities and handling high-volume, fast-paced environments.
• Skills: Proficiency in Yardi is preferred. Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
• Attributes: Friendly yet focused on working efficiently and effectively. Not afraid to ask questions and seek clarification when needed.
