Revenue Accountant Opportunity

Key Responsibilities of the Revenue Accountant:

• Review contracts to understand terms and deliverables for accurate revenue recognition.
• Manage the month-end revenue close process and assist in implementing ASC 606 standards.
• Prepare reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and management reporting, including key metrics.
• Collaborate with the Billing Team to ensure proper invoicing, posting of customer payments, and revenue classification in compliance with ASC 606.
• Handle ad hoc projects as needed to support the accounting function.
• Evaluate existing policies and procedures, recommending efficiency improvements where necessary.

Qualifications of the Revenue Accountant:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• 4-6 years of accounting experience focused on revenue and financial reporting.
• Proficiency with ERP systems, preferably with larger platforms such as NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle.
• Organized and detail-oriented, capable of thriving in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Outgoing personality with excellent relationship-building skills, able to collaborate effectively across departments.
