Job description

Cortina Solutions intends to add the Sea Based X-Band (SBX) Radar Mission Integration (SBX-MI) program to our corporate portfolio. The SBX-MI program performs Operations & Sustainment (O&S) onboard an advanced radar system mounted on a modified oil-drilling vessel designed for exceptional stability in high winds and storms within the PACOM Area of Responsibility that supports the Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS). In performance of this mission, Cortina Solutions is seeking an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to work onboard the SBX-1 platform. Duties and Responsibilities: Ensure users are trained in information security before providing access and train users for system operation.
Maintain the Information Management and Control Plan (IMCP) and deliver periodic updates.
Provide adequate security on covered information systems.
Ensure personnel coming onboard are properly briefed on security, photography, and closed area access and computer security.
Coordinate vessel access activities with the Security Officer to ensure access is properly controlled.
Research, develop, test and implement Enterprise Electronic Security System (ESS) in accordance with policy.
Maintain the systems cybersecurity infrastructure to protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of prime and supporting systems.
Make reports in accordance with the Cyber Incident Response Plan.
Conduct weekly cybersecurity vulnerability assessment scans.
Develop and implement the Operations SOPs.
Provide recommendations for process and equipment safety improvements.
Provide monitoring, reporting and predetermined troubleshooting for external mission support systems, including COMSEC. Requirements: Active Secret Clearance
8 years' experience as ISSO Excellent written communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills
Ability to effectively manage competing priorities is a must. Applicants must be able to work well alone and as part of a team
Leadership and mentoring experience with proven results
Experience working in a maritime environment
Travel up to 50% Preferred Skills & Experience: Bachelor's Degree in related field
Experience performing in a deployed remote work environment for extended periods of time Physical Requirements: Must not be hindered by motion sickness and must pass/maintain Maritime Medical Exam IAW Missile Defense Agency requirements
Must be able to balance, bend, lift up to 35 pounds, crouch, stretch, and kneel
Must be able to climb up to 10 flights of stairs regularly
Cannot be afraid of confined spaces
