The Role

Fidelity s Organic Social Media team is in search of an Art Director to support our flagship social handles, helping us create timely, scroll-stopping financial content.

This is a hybrid role that requires in-office presence for 2 weeks per month in Boston, MA.

A curious, visual problem solver, you tap into trends, both cultural and financial, to generate likes, follows, and dialog. You are a collaborator whose passion for social media, both personally and professionally, is obvious and infectious. You understand the subtle differences in branding and tone when creating work for TikTok, Instagram, Linkedin, and everything in between. And you're not afraid of testing boundaries, pushing the work to craft novel, thumb-stopping work that engages followers and prospects.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • 5+ years designing and animating social media executions and campaigns at an agency or in-house for major brands
  • BFA in Graphic Design, Advertising and a terrific portfolio
  • Ability to animate simple social media content and graphics for video assets
  • Experience designing for platforms including, but not limited to: Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook and Pinterest
  • Exceptional Illustrator, Photoshop and PowerPoint skills
  • Experience in concepting social videos, stills, and animated executions
  • Curiosity about and knowledge of emerging cultural trends
  • An understanding of the diverse audiences on social, and the unique needs of those audiences
  • Confidence to present ideas (including the wild ones) to your peers and senior leaders
  • An ability to have fun while working hard in a fast paced, agile environment

Portfolio required for consideration. Financial Services experience a plus but not required.
