We provide specialized solutions to agencies of the US Intelligence Community, military Special Operations Forces, and other national security partners. Our Advisory practice executes customers' intelligence and advanced research missions globally, while our Training practice delivers cutting edge tradecraft training to select organizations. Job Purpose: The Instructional Designer will work close with other team members to design, develop and maintain training content on behalf of Department of Defense (DoD) client. Key Duties & Responsibilities > Design, develop and maintain training materials to include lesson plans, student workbooks, practical exercises, examinations and other courseware materials as required.
Experience designing and developing Levels 2 and 3 multimedia training solutions using Articulate Storyline that are 508 and SCORM compliant.
Experience with all phases of the ADDIE process.
Experience with Moodle and LMS.
Proficiency in multimedia development tools, prototyping software, and e-learning authoring tools, such as Articulate Storyline.
Current US Government SECRET security clearance with ability to obtain a TOP SECRET.
Willingness to work on-site in the Fayetteville, NC area. Preferred Skills/Experience: Experience working in a military training or defense contracting environment.
Advanced degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or Curriculum Development.
This is a customer-facing position representing FRDA to client employees.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills are a must.
Highly motivated, self-starter with demonstrated ability to spot new opportunities and spearhead new initiatives.
A friendly and collaborative attitude; ability to work well independently and in groups with minimal supervision; ability to navigate ambiguity, embrace client oversight at all levels, and balance competing demands.
