Summary:

As a Lead MRO Operations Manager, you would be responsible for leading a team of (3-4) associates whose duties include but not limited to:

o Establishing parts list, setting min/max inventory levels, Vendor selection, ordering, delivery, and inventory mgmt

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for categories such as Maintenance, Equipment spare parts, Operational consumables, Safety Equipment, Production and Laboratory supplies, all of which have significant impact on L-H Battery financial performance

  • Responsible to develop and maintain supplier relationships through highest level supplier contacts

  • Developing MRO purchasing strategies that are inventive and cost-effective

  • Collaborate with Purchasing for the sourcing and engagement of reliable suppliers and vendors

  • Closely work with Manufacturing team and OEM's on MRO related products required to inventory

  • Support negotiating with suppliers/vendors to secure product with advantageous terms

  • Management of MRO part & material ordering and Inventory system

  • Monitoring supplier performance and resolving issues and concerns

  • Educating, training, enforcing the MRO processes and policies utilizing innovative business acumen and best practices

  • Define R&R and staffing requirements for the team, staff to budget and plan. Assess and balance team workload

  • Set goals for assigned area and effectively manage associate performance and development

  • Manage business results, organization structure, manpower, associate training and development, and associate career growth and opportunities

  • Perform Other duties as assigned

    Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or relevant experience

  • 8+ years of experience in related field

    Knowledge/Skills:

  • Strong verbal and interpersonal skills

  • Strong ability to work collaboratively with various departments and lead a team effectively

  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software and advanced Excel skills

  • Technical acumen with basic machinery, robotics and equipment of manufacturing operations would be a plus
