Seeking a highly motivated, self-directed professional to fill a Front-End Software Developer role in Herndon, VA, to support the re-architecture of a large mission critical access control system currently written in Grails. The successful candidate should have the ability to leverage cloud infrastructure and services to modernize the front-end experience and have a firm understanding of client-side and server-side web frameworks. The successful candidate will work with the current development team to maintain the current capabilities, and collaborate with mission partners on new design features and develop the new interface for the system. The CIT program is specifically seeking candidates with a background in front-end development using Angular. Full-stack development background is a plus and highly desired.
