Our client is seeking a Technical Data Manager at the Senior level to support our Air Force Distributed Common Ground System (AF DCGS) program. The Air Force Distributed Common Ground System (AF DCGS) is an intelligence enterprise system, comprised of 27 active duty, Air National Guard (ANG), and mission partner sites, interconnected by a robust communications infrastructure spanning the globe. The network centric, global enterprise provides 24/7/365 world-wide, Near-Real-Time (NRT) simultaneous Multi-Intelligence (Multi-Int) capabilities and products to Combatant Commanders (CCMDs). The Technical Data Manager shall be able to plan, develop, implement, and administer information systems for the acquisition, storage, and retrieval of data.
The proposed salary range for this position is $76,000-$103,500. There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications. Responsibilities: • Oversees efforts of less senior staff • Responsible for researching, reviewing, and developing or utilizing raw data to create technical documents for all systems services delivered for maintenance and sustainment of the AF DCGS operational SW and HW baselines • Researches, reviews, validates raw data resident on the DCGS system databases for usability on the current operational baseline and all future iterations of operational baselines, to include Intelink Teamcenter, JIRA, and Confluence • Uses validated data to create technical documentation in support of establishing organic and competitive commercial support and services for maintenance and sustainment of the DCGS operational SW and HW baselines • Responsible for Data Management Training, Data Calls, Data Release Requests & Teamcenter (creating documents objects & upload documents to SharePoint) • Responsible for Data Contract Requirement (CDRL) Management; logging & tracking deliverables, template reviews, technical template owner • Serves as the monthly CDRL and DID reviewer • Document Control Numbers (DCNs): assignment, database owner, document repository management & filing
KEY QUALIFICATIONS
Clearance: TS/SCI required Education and Years of Experience: Masters' Degree and 10+ years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, some time with the DoD is preferred. (12 years' work experience may be substituted for a Master's Degree or Bachelor's Degree plus 8 years' work experience may be substituted for a Master's Degree) • Security+ certification • IAT Level III (CISSP) certification • Able to work on high visibility or mission critical aspects and perform functional duties independently. • Able to oversee the efforts of less senior staff and/or be responsible for the efforts of other staff as assigned, if needed. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Willingness to travel if required
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS • Two (2) years' experience in creating, extracting, and expanding identification information from documents to facilitate proper filing by technical, programmatic, and process criteria, document change requests, data release requests, data storage systems, document control practices (experience) • Experience with Product Data Management software/tools • Commercial Configuration/Data Management certification from a nationally recognized organization (e.g., NDIA, CMII, CMPIC)
