As an accounting specialist, you will be responsible for managing the accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate payment of invoices, and supporting the overall financial health of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Invoice Processing: Review, process, and verify invoices, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies.
• Payment Management: Handle payments to vendors, manage accounts payable schedules, and ensure timely disbursements.
• Reconciliation: Perform account reconciliations to verify accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Documentation and Compliance: Maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions and ensure compliance with internal controls.
• Communication: Serve as the primary contact for vendor inquiries, address payment issues, and collaborate with other departments as needed.

Preferred Qualifications for the Accounting Specialist

• Relevant Experience: Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar accounting role
