My client is searching for a Project Manager to play a pivotal role in overseeing complex grocery store and warehouse gut renovation projects across the New England region, working closely with major clients to deliver high-value solutions.

My client is a mid-sized General Contractor located North West of Boston. They have a local Massachusetts office with a wide reach across of projects across New England and upstate NY, they have been successfully executing projects in the grocery industry for the last 7 years. They are focused on growth and expansion across NE establishing additional offices in Maine and New York. They a projected annual revenue of $25 million this year, and are set to soar to $40 million over the next 3 years. The team, consisting of 45 highly skilled employees, is dedicated to executing top-notch gut renovations for grocery stores and warehouses. Their stellar reputation is evidenced by their roster of major clients, with average project lengths of 4-9 months and budgets ranging from $2 million to $4 million.

Description

As the Construction Project Manager you will:

  • Develop comprehensive project plans.
  • Lead and manage project teams.
  • Efficiently allocate and monitor resources.
  • Ensure high-quality construction work.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Maintain strong client relationships.
  • Monitor and adhere to project schedules.
  • Administer contracts and manage costs.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation.
  • Enforce safety protocols and compliance.
  • Solve project-related challenges.
  • Encourage continuous improvement.

Profile

The successful Construction Project Manager will have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Building Construction Technology, or related field preferred
  • 5-10+ years of experience as a Project Manager (leading own projects)
  • Procore
  • Retail or Food Storage project experience preferred or related project experience
  • Ability to plan, organize, and coordinate multiple projects
  • Strong literacy of MS Word and Excel
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
